flip out (a poem)

whoosh,
a blast of air, flash from the water on the wind, wild, picked up the pollens,
barbs out,
the claw, and the hammer,
the codified,
kill switch,
the mad want
to not die

revolutions
of whoosh, and whrr, and trckt,
clicking us into clacks,
of a keyboard

the hum of electrons,
the matter of me
in mode

information,
a vessel,
a form,
a drunk messenger,
with an important message
I can’t remember

wave lap,
wave lap,
lapse into the other,
recursive passion,
the persistence
to be
in every fiber of

the proto,
a vital tenacity,
a warped code on assignment,
a program unwilling
to force quit

scan,
scan,
gather,
consume to survive,
join cluster

a sticky
transcending physics,
an upstream journey
forged by an instinct
to spawn
