Red Pill Republic (a poem)

Red pill people only, please and thank you

Waking up, this is the new real,
A veil over the eyes—everyone thinks they know
Better and best,
And then you got this guy.

How did he get there?
Accumulate wealth,
Make the rich more than before,
Squeeze the nation-states, the peoples,
For whatever is left.

Dump it in the hands of them—
Not okay for you.
Elite republic, the rulers, and us idiots.

Duplicitous, contradiction,
And we play the narcissist and swear,
It’s never our fault and we got this.

The world’s against us, the hero thief,
No honor—
Convicted of fraud, still allowed to lead.

What? That should be one of the worst crimes—
To defraud, to rob the citizen and the public,
Your neighbor,
Not serving another dictator.
Every man for himself, women and children can wait.

Evict the weaker, trample the vulnerable,
Dismantle aid, disrupt and misdirect,
Steal—
And then get out of jail free.

The real threat—
The control, the super-intelli-corps,
Masters and AI overlords.
Running an entire civilization
Like a pissed-off teenager.
We’re in a rush to be
The smartest dumbass in the room.

Out on the lawn,
Peddling my special Bible,
à la Americana, made in China,
Two for one—
And God will forgive all your sins too.

Taking out the neighbors with rubber bullets and riot shields
To get that shot out in front of the church.
God as my witness—
We did this.

It’s the Muppet Show, and we’re all backups.

Maybe I’m crazy, but maybe we all are,
And who named you sanest in this psycho world?
